At CARO, we are dedicated to protecting the dignity and well-being of families affected by conflict, displacement, and natural disasters. Our Shelter and Non-Food Items (SNFI) program provides life-saving support to the most vulnerable communities across Afghanistan.

We focus on:

• Providing emergency shelter to displaced populations to ensure safety, privacy, and protection

• Distributing essential non-food items such as blankets, clothing, cooking supplies, and hygiene kits to help families meet their basic needs

• Supporting the construction of permanent housing for families who have lost their homes, promoting long-term stability and recovery

• Winterization support to help vulnerable households cope with severe weather conditions

• Rehabilitating damaged shelters and infrastructure in disaster-affected communities

Through our SNFI efforts, CARO brings immediate relief while also contributing to long-term resilience and recovery for displaced and crisis-affected families.
